It was a special show to me, because the day I listened to it, I had a bird fly into my picture window and die as I watched, wishing I could somehow help. I'd never seen anything die in front of me before. Anyway, for whatever reason, everything at once, that show meant a lot to me. I love all of you so much. I don't think cancer will/can take your mom, to be honest. She'll die someday, but it's going to be when she just flat out decides she wants to, and then she'll just roll over and do it. I don't think this cancer is going to be anymore harmful to her than the last. It was a great show, Venus, and there were many highlights, not just the annoyed caller! I wish Mom, you, your family (and heck all of us) lots and lots of miracles. We just celebrated my mom's 80th birthday this weekend. Mom still works. She drives downtown to work twice a week. We live in Chicago. It was hard to keep the great & grand kids in tow with gram setting off bottle rockets with the older boys. After some Mike's Hard Pomegranate Punch (It has pomegranate it has to be healthy!) it's hard to keep her down. Reading your story about your mom reminds me to be grateful for every crazy (happy, sad, bothersome, wonderful, silly, etc.) minute with mom.
